OMG. today was such a SUEI(damn unlucky)~ day!! it's the day when all things broke. lol. (:

woke up late for the school which i forgot i had!! arh! so lazy okay!! ): so was rushing and such.
who could have guessed! my school shoes broke ): so i had to go find plan B. wasn't hard. but still.

omg. now that i'm 17. i can officially drive not having to creep through backalleys to escape from the many police roadblocks. not that they'd stop me or somein.. i know i know. i look so old already. if wanna stop. go stop megan la! (:

Lemme Explain. why i haven't made any effort to go get myself a license. (and eventually become KY's DRIVER.~)

1.) I must attend some lectures. TWO to be exact. and both goes on for 8 hours. OMFG. thats. like. school!? O: but imagine. having to look at the same dude teaching for the whole day. bored until die! unless. it's a leng zai. but where got. always ah peks only.

2.) I must train for atleast. ATLEAST. 10 hours. in this kancil

OK. what's so bad abt it?? this pic here is already a nice version of the kancil. imagine it being used. 82937184723 times by unprofessional drivers (learners) like me and KY. over damn many years. it wouldn't only stink. and be filled with stains from the trainer's daily coffee. it would probably be demented as well. how can survive 10 hours in a thing like that!! ):

3.) i don't have a 3. what more do you want me to say la. !!

but you know whats so sexy bout driving about in that kancil.

today was probably the bested best best birthday.! (: no, no drinking la! haiyo ;p but i did spend it with the people i lovee!! (damn gay, but shush.)

So we scoot away from bangsar right after dinner cause everyone had their own plans. but me and my family were still lost, to go to curve? or not to go.

knowing that it's already 9 and by the time we leave the house again it would be 10... we were all afraid of the massive. massive. traffic at the curve. I heard roadblocks were put up at 7. -.-" and that last year, it took people 3 hours just to get out of the curve. =.=' i dont wanna reach home at 3 in the morning lu!!not when im with my parents. O:

Plan B?

we decided to head to the nearest place with fireworks and a crowd.

At 10.30 we found ourselves at mont kiara plaza, where the band ONLY sang rock songs. and we got bored so we went to solaris for a drive.but we got bored too. so we tried sold out. and there was some india thing going on and obviously we weren't dressed for it! so no other choice but to head back to the plaza.

we were lucky though. that it was 11.40 already. dont need to tolerated the sucky band that much longer. (: yeay.!

SO. in the last fifteen minutes of 08. i bump into hoho.! who was at that time looking for the washroom . jkjk. (:

went on the dance floor, danced to YMCA and other unknown songs. thn 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!! fireworks covered the sky above us. cheers from the crowd. hugs shared among all. and there you go. 08, gone in just a wink of an eye. O:

winter reads.

Although it is the holidays, i still have school work to do, and that is to read. read. read. and...read.! ngeh. unlike local schools, holidays like these meant complete isolation from school and work. *so lucky you guys*


so what are the books i have to read? firstly is a nice, friendly, 150 ish pgs book, "like water for chocolate". from the title, you can guess that it's quite a cute book. (: well the cover is friendly too!

i finished this book in 3 days since it's so short with nice paper and font. YES. done with one. two to go!!

This book was filled with recipes! and one of it was exactly what i've been looking for!! icing/frosting recipe! but.... cannot trust wan!! turned into balls of rocks and were just inedible cause it tasted so nasty!!

in the end, i was left with no icing, (wasted my 200grams of icing sugar and precise 60 drops of lemon juice!)but then i reached the next book, "house of spirits". by just reading that title, you'd understand why i dread ever picking it up again. ;p it's so boring!! plus the author wrote it for people that are english-ER then i am cause i'm sure if i had to check the dictionary for each word i don't get. i'd have to search the entire dictionary 10 times for every page of the book i read. pffft. SO here i am. PAGE. 4 out of 400 ++ (the plus plus gives you the uneasy feeling like the prices of hotels and karaoke places right? like wth that ++ can turn up to being 100 over!! )

OH. and check out the book cover. *like crazy woman, so unfriendly and unattractive.* blek.

ok ok. enough complaining. i better get back to actually reading it! wish me luck guys. ;p

i wanna bake bake bake! i woke up today, had the baking fetish going all over me. but when i tried searching for recipes online, i just dropped and lost it all. pffft. esp the icing part, there's just too many different types and its so hard to know which is best!! ngeh!!

Obviously, the weren't exactly the best dressed santa-wannabes, but atleast the were hairy enough to have enough hair to represent santa's beard! ;p

After that, i dashed off in the OH-SO-POPULAR "xiao bai" =.=" megan's white myvi. lol (: we went to one u since it was like the only mall left on my list of 'chirtsmas-deco-ed-malls-to see'. It wasn't too grande, quite disappointing, but atleast i got out of the house! ;p

compared to the curve, i think one u should have had a bigger set up, since afterall it is like twice the size of the curve.

Not much pics taken there, i haven't gotten the hang of blogging with pics of every detail!! lol but what i did start was to carry a camera in my bag at all times. progressive eyh? i knu. ;p lol

OK. fastforward to my christmas night *NO not opening presents. that's on christmas eve!!* went out with my you(YES YOU KY), neeners, rumi and kristi, megan!! being as underage as we are, and look, (okay, not YOU KY and obviously not me either. XP) we were surprised we actually *passed* at laundry, having KY kicked out a year or two before. ahaha. (: or maybe she was just plain. NOOB Xp i kid ky i kid. ;p
